Saw action in all 14 games, including making one start … scored 14 goals and added four assists, both singles season career-highs … his 14 goals fourth on the team, and his 18 points were fifth … scored two man-up goals … had four multi-goal games, including four against Emmanuel (2/13) and three against Florida Southern (4/23) … shot 58.1-percent on goal … caused one turnover … finished his career with 19 goals and four assists for 23 points, 16 ground balls, and one caused turnover, and a shot on goal percentage of 59.2-percent … named to the 2016 Spring SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll. Pyper Vaughn made USF her home to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse, a profession that has been part of her family for generations. Her two grandmothers were nurses, and her father was a search-and-rescue sailor in the Navy. She is now a senior, a pathway program that leads to on track to graduate in 2023. After graduating, Vaughn plans to work in cardiac care and later return to USF to earn a doctoral degree. Her goal is to become a certified registered nurse anesthetist and work with helicopter teams to perform what she calls, “little surgeries in the sky.” Vaugh serves as president of the USF College of Nursing Student Council and is secretary of the women’s lacrosse club.
